Mitochondria Man

I am fascinated by small details and tiny things. I had some powerful visions in Peru of how very small beings work together to make a larger being healthy. Of course this happens in all life forms. Atoms, molecules, cells, and more all work together to create the incredible array of beings that we see on earth.

I belong to a few different prayer lists. When I get information about people, I put them up on my prayer wall and do healing ceremonies. I sing to the names and pictures and send them good energy.

I recently heard about a six year old boy named Ben. He has a health challenge that I am positive he can overcome. This challenge involves his mitochondria not working together right. I visualize his mitochondria coming back into balance. I was inspired to create a superhero for him and his mitochondria – Motochondria Man. (Insert heroic music here)

I wanted to utilize this post to bring attention to an organization that does research with mitochondria related health challenges.
You can join here for more information:
UMDF

There are a lot of health challenges that occur because of mitochondria not working together well, including, type 2 diabetes, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s.

If you know anyone who has these health challenges, Mitochondria Man is for them!

…and if you have a moment, join Ben’s healing team by saying a few prayers for him and his mitochondria.

Can you tell me just how they work and what can we do to make them healhy?

Thank You for writing Amazing Ada!

Your Marvelous and Mighty Mitochondria extract energy from nutrients, and create ATP, or adenosine triphosphate. ATP is used in many types of cellular processes.

The production of ATP creates free radicals.
If you have enough mitochondria, and they are healthy,
they can generally take care of the free radicals they produce.
If you have less mitochondria, and they are not working
efficiently, then, they are more likely to allow
free radicals to escape where they can do damage elsewhere.

    Supplements to assist mitochondria…

    1. Reservatrol
    2. CoQ10 (Ubiquinol is more absorbable.)

As always, if you are utilizing any medication,
    consult your doctor.

Challenge your cells. Lift heavy things.
    Move as much as possible.
Let your body rest when it needs it.

    Minimizer as much as possible,
    calories from grains.
    Especially white bread.

    If you must have grains,
    eat the ‘better’ ones soaked.
    Quinoa. Rice. Oats.
Oats should be soaked 24 hours in water with about half a lemon squeezed.
Rice only needs about 8 hours in the same type of water.
The lemon helps the water to remove the protective things that grains have
that disrupt digestion and utilization of nutrients.

    Eat in order of importance.
    1. Vegetables.
    2. Animal foods. – Vegetarians eat eggs and grass fed, organic butter. Eat butter with grains. The fat also helps you digest them. Omnivores – Meat (organic, grass fed).
    3. Good fats.

    Oils to use:
    For cooking: Coconut oil (unrefined).
Extra Virgin Olive oil – 1st cold pressing. Should be in a dark bottle.
Do not heat this oil – put it on after cooking.
If the bottle is clear, it is probably refined, and not good.

    Oils to use occasionally:
Cold pressed Sesame oil – Not for cooking.

Oils to avoid. (Do not have them in the house):
    Canola oil.
    Corn oil.
    Soy oil.
    Sunflower.
    Safflower.
    Cottonseed.
Palm oil – because most sources cause the destruction of rainforest, including orangutan habitat.
